Mexico Animal Transfer Program

Saving Animals Across Borders partnership with Continental Airlines and the Humane Society of Boulder Valley created the first permanent transfer program for homeless animals from Mexico to the United States, saving the lives of dogs and cats from destruction. Adoptable animals from Monterrey's over-crowded government pounds are transported monthly to Denver, Colorado where the humane society accepts them for adoption. We see this pilot program as an opportunity to for a successful model to be replicated, creating additional transfer and animal care programs between Mexico and the United States.
